Question for you. We are going to be in St Marten on Sept 27 on the Carnival Dream. What is the best way to the airport ?

The easiest way would be to just grab a taxi at the Cruise Facility. Rates are set and are available here.

 

Some feel adventurous enough to take a local bus to Maho and back. Just use the search facility to find numerous discussions about 'bus'.

I would recommend using Bernard. He has a nice little excursion that will take you to Maho beach to catch those huge planes that land right over your head and also to Orient beach, which is one of my favorite beaches. His prices are reasonable and it includes free rum punch, soda, water, and local beer.
