Formal night for teenagers

We'll be on the Emerald Princess next month with our 16- and 13-year old daughters. My older daughter has several cocktail dresses that she can take, but my younger daughter doesn't. Will she be dressed appropriately wearing a skirt with a knit jacket, or with a tailored blouse? She could potentially take her grad dress, but that seems a little over-the-top (and bulky to pack).

Thanks for your advice.

We used to hit the post Easter sales for a couple of pretty little dresses for our girls to wear. By now, some summer stuff may be on sale as well. However, what you've described will be just fine. Definitely don't waste time and packing space on something super fancy (although, now that I think about it, it would be an excuse to wear the dress again :))
