What is a "Freestyle Cruise Reward"? I have seen it mentioned a few times. One man said that he wished that he had purchased one on his last cruise. Thanks for the help.:D

Answer :)

if you do a search you'll find a lot of posts on this subject, some confusing and some not lol. Hopefully this is in the not confusing category.

Cruise reward costs $250 which is charged to your shipboard account. However, one of the benefits of cruise reward is a $100 onboard credit which is also applied to your shipboard account meaning you only have to pay the $150 difference.

The entire $250 cruise reward is good for 4 years. The "$250" remains in NCL records under your latitudes number so if you lose your certificate it doesn't matter. It can be used as the entire deposit for everyone in stateroom except for some of the higher level suites. Worked fine for our deck 12 family suite on the Star.

You'll have ample opportunity to purchase one on your cruise.

You purchase it on the ship you are cruising on. It's $250.00, but you receive an immediate $100 on board credit to use while you are currently cruising. You use your cruise reward when you book your next cruise as your deposit deoending on what type of stateroom you book. It's applied as a $250.00 deposit towards the total cost of your cruise. It has to be used within 4 years of purchase. Go to www.NCL.com. Go to the bottom of the page and you will see on the left hand side "Cruise Rewards" It will give you all the details there.

Happy cruising!

Can you use more than one reward per cabin when you book your next cruise?

Thanks.

You can only use one per cabin/reservation, but what it does is reduce your deposit from the normal $500 to the one reward for $250.

The cruise that you apply it to for deposit must be 6 days or more in length. If you intend to cruise again with NCL within 4 years its well worth it. We've purchased one on every cruise.

they are GREAT...the instant $100 OBC and then not having to put a deposit down when you book your cruise.

we ALWAYS buy 1 or 2 one cruise we bought 4 and gave one as a gift to our cruising frens.

we will be at least purchasing 2 or more in December.
