Cabo---yes

PV---yes

La Paz--- no.. 20 minute free bus ride

I would just add....

In Cabo, you can walk to the beach, but the main swimming beach (Medano) is about a mile from the cruise docks.

For $2.00pp you can take a water taxi to Medano. For $10-12PP you can take a water taxi that offers a tour of The Arch, which is probably "the" most famous Cabo landmark, and from there they will drop you off at Medano Beach...or, you can get out at Lover's Beach (by the Arch). Keep in mind that there are NO facilities at Lover's Beach (No bathrooms, no food, no vendors...although you might find an individual selling cold beer and soda, but that it never guranteed.)

If you wander down the Marina aways, you can often find a boat that will take a group of 4-8 for $20-30 total, out to the Arch, and still drop you off at Medano.

The return trip from Medano will be about $2.00pp via water taxi, or $8-10 land taxi (for a group of 8-10!)

If you've never been to Cabo before, I heartily recommend the tour of the Arch. We've been to Cabo several times, and we always take a boat to see the Arch.

Keep in mind that if you go to the beach via water taxi, you will have to disembark in knee deep water. That is really not much of a problem unless you have mobilty issues.
