Which Holiday Inn if FLL?

I'm thinking about booking one of the Holdiay Inn Express for two nights prior to our cruise and I see the HI Airport/Cruise, and the HI Convention/Cruise.

What is the difference between the two, as in proximity to shopping, water taxi, shuttle to the port, neighbourhood etc?

the one near the convention center is closer to the pier and walking distance to everything on 17th, plus you can get to the water taxi and/or sun trolley.

 

i can't remember where the other one is, but i think it is near LESS stuff....

I beleive the airport/cruise location is on SR 84, near a small plaza, but not a lot else. The one on 17th St is a much better choice if you have any time to kill and no vehicle.
