Hello Missus. Just down the road from you. Recently found a website called winningbids.com which listed hotels by area and star rating. Might be worth a look. There are some good deals on Lastminuteholidays.com and unlike Hotwire you can cancel for about $20. We got the IC Miami through them.

Go to biddingfortravel.com or betterbidding.com and search the HOTWIRE HOTEL LISTS for Miami airport area. You need to compare all amenities and star level to have it narrowed down. Make sure you research the hotels it could possibly be, so you don't put yourself in one in a bad location or having other problems. Good luck!

Sometimes it is very clear when reading betterbidding which hotel it is. In many cases I have been 99% sure before booking. In this case, it is not so clear, from better bidding it could be: Holiday Inn Doral, Holiday Inn Miami Airport, Hyatt Place Miami Airport West-Doral, La Quinta Airport West.

 

Then again it could be a surprise. Certainly the price is right and for 15 hours.....

 

My guess...Miami International Airport Hotel
