Question: St Catherines Beach

Sirdar

Recommended Posts

Going to Bermuda on the Veendam August 7th. Our first day is at St. Georges and our party would like to head to the Beach nearby. I'm afraid Tobacco Bay will be too crowded. Has anyone been to St. Catherine's lately? What are the conditions/amemities. I recall being ther some years back but I believe I read that conditions are not a nice as I remember.

Any comments appreciated

Yes you will find it different from a few years ago. The concession stand is gone and it doesn't look like anyone tends to it. We were there last year and used the beach since TB was crowded. The beach was quiet and the swimming was good. It just isn't as attractive as it used to be.

I think it might eventually be part of the new hotel that is planned for that area.
