hazelglaze Posted July 31, 2011 #1 Share Posted July 31, 2011 Does anyone know what local restaurants might be good to stop by for a lobster lunch? Please share your experiences. Thanks!

otisishere Posted July 31, 2011 #3 Share Posted July 31, 2011 It has been about a year since we've been but we always beeline it to Mayan Princess. We buy a day pass for $10 and settle in for the day. They have a very nice pool and a wonderful restaurant on the beach with lots of shade. We couldn't believe the low prices of the lobster and definitely overindulged. After getting our fill of lobster and cocktails we then settle in on a lounge chair on the beach. Sometimes we just make our table under the palapa our base and just hang there for the day. The beach is beautiful and water is amazingly clear. I have heard that Roatan is becoming more Americanized by the day so hurry to see this beautiful Island before it is too late. Enjoy! I've seen several reports here that the Mayan Princess recently has limited the number and access areas for day users. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1425139
