pampaul Posted July 31, 2011 #1 Share Posted July 31, 2011 We're leaving in just 10 days and we're so excited. I'd like to check out the casino while onboard and wondering what type of slots they have. Quarters? Nickle? Dime? Penny? How do you think they pay out compared to a regular land based casino? What are your favorite ones to play? And do they take coins or bills? Or is everything on your sail/sign card? Thanks.

They will take bills or your S&S card. You will have to use your S&S card to get the money off the machine when you are done playing. Make sure the message comes up telling you that your funds have transferred otherwise you are simply leaving the money on the machine for the next person who sits down. I use my S&S card on the slot machines to get cash for spending money. There's no fee charging it to you S&S card at the slots. I then take my card to the cashier and they give me cash. Favorite machines are the penny slots although they don't have alot of them. The camping one, sea horses and the hoot owl one are my favs.
finsupcruiser Posted July 31, 2011 #3 Share Posted July 31, 2011 All that you listed plus 1.00 slots and video poker and a few 2penny slots. I find most cruise ship casinos pay off less than land base --however I came home with money from Miracle 2010 so who knows. We are on Miracle again in Oct--we shall see:) Use your sail and sign to set up your bank--insert money--upload winnings to Players bank. You can also download money from your S&S if you wish--I have done this several times .My S&S is backed with credit card so I know there is money there. Good luck:) The Miracle is a great ship

madibeme Posted July 31, 2011 #7 Share Posted July 31, 2011 My favorite is the Slingo penny slot. You have to bet a $1 a hand to play the games but I did pretty well with it a couple weeks ago. I liked the green one better than the red one. They are by the bar.

Rare Lady Arwen Posted August 4, 2011 #10 Share Posted August 4, 2011 We were on the Miracle in January and had a fabulous time. The casino is not large, but enough machines to keep me busy in the evening. That said, the payouts that cruise were just awful. It's not like Vegas where you have a decent chance at a jackpot, it happened rarely on that cruise. Didn't stop me from playing, though! Have a great cruise, you'll love the Miracle. pampaul Posted August 5, 2011 Author #11 Share Posted August 5, 2011 Is there a better chance at winning like the first day or throughout the week? last day? I would think they would probably pay out bigger on the first/second day....that way they could get more people in there throughout the week thinking they will have a good chance at winning big money, no? I would think they would probably pay out bigger on the first/second day....that way they could get more people in there throughout the week thinking they will have a good chance at winning big money, no? I generally think they seem to payout better earlier in the cruise, but on my last few cruises I've won a decent amount toward the end of the cruise too.
