Transportation from port to Rome hotel after cruise

What transportation do you recommend for when I return to port (Civitavecchia) to get to my hotel in central Rome?

Train is the cheapest if you can handle your luggage

If you have a fair amount of luggage often people will take private cars.

 

If you need a recommendation on a private car service please let me know and I'll be happy to give you one.

Yes, please recommend a private car. I would rather not have to deal with the train since I'll be on limited time....am spending only one day and night in Rome.

Join the Roll Call for your sailing, and perhaps someone else is staying at your same hotel and you can share a ride with them!

 

We used Rome Cabs three times on one trip.

 

From Rome to the ship, we shared a ride with another family on our ship, and they weren't even staying at our hotel!

 

RomeCabs picked them up, and then picked us up, ......

and took all 8 of us to the ship!

 

It was a shared ride, and very economical.
