Tell me about the Pirate Ship excursion in PV

I am thinking of taking this excursion with my 5 year old son. My husband is abandoning us for the day to do the Extreme Canopy Adventure. Is this something that a mom would enjoy alone with a 5 year old? What kind of bathroom facilities do they have? Any other tips would be greatly appreciated.
