QUESTION regarding RFID Blocking??

My friend's card was skimmed in Ottawa to the tune of $500 within 1 hr for overseas purchases

 

Fortunately VISA checked with her because she had not told them she was travelling out of the Country

I think they meant no skimming from RFID

Maybe I was not clear

She has a card with the "WAVE" (rfid) system maybe not in U.S.A. yet

(you barely have the CHIP cards there)

She never used her card at the mall it was in her purse

 

Anyone it seems can purchase a RFID card reader online for around $100.

 

Anyway we now have the RFID sleeves for our credit cards & passports

 

Just saying it has happened maybe no statistics YET but it does happen
