Bari/Matera

Hi Vapersecutor! Yes, for those of us on the Voyager, there is a tour. It leaves at 11:30 am for the whole day. It costs $125.

I looked into simply taking the train there instead of joining the ship's tour but unfortunately it doesn't really work out for us. The earliest one after the ship docks is at 12:41 pm from the Bari station and it doesn't get in to Matera until 2:04 pm. Then there's only a 4:11 pm train back that gets in at 5:39 pm or a 5:24 pm that gets in at 7:00 pm, the latter of which cuts it awfully close given that we push off at 8:00 pm. I wouldn't do it.
