The caps are mentioned in the fun times on the little pullout section where they list the drink of the day and the mixologist drink and the food hours...

At least you can see the night before when the towel animals deliver the papers

The shot glasses in the comedy club are very nice. They also had light up (plastic) shot glasses during the late night deck party...

Love your comment, about the towel animals delivering the fun times paper...

But... Now I have to add "shot glasses" to the 4 cups I plan on buying... :D

I was just thinking the same thing-I have to have the shot glasses since I collect those anyway! :) Only 58 days I can't wait! :)

Don't give up hope. :) I'm sure it changes from cruise to cruise and ship to ship. I read a review last year of a shorter (4 or 5 day) cruise and it was mentioned that they were serving drinks in the monkey heads at Half Moon Cay. I would really be surprised if they didn't have them. They do charge $15.00 each, so it's definitely a money maker for Carnival. I don't mind the price, where else are you going to get something like that? BTY, I use mine here at home. :)

I sure hope you are right! Shortly after we get settled, I am going to ask where and when I can get a monkey head! I told my hubby last night and he laughed. I said it would be cool to sit in our hot tub and drink from our coconut monkey cup! He agreed! :)

They had the blowfish on our cruise on Fascination recently. Great excuse for having a DOD, as the grandkids each wanted one for a souvenir, and we couldn't see paying that price for a cup of coke... ;)

The next day, at HMC, they had the monkeyheads - another excuse for a DOD. :D Lost count somehow and ended up with three!

I forgot to mention - I got my blowfish from the bar at the Serenity Deck, and nearly simultaneously, DW got one from a waiter on the Lido deck. We both showed up at the staterooms at the same time, and the GK's immediately commandeered them. DW and I went looking for more, but none of the bars had any more by time we went back out. :(

I guess it was the monkeyheads the GK's wanted - those five days are a kind of muddle... :o

The first thing i did on the Dream was go to the bar and ask when the Coconut Monkey Heads would be making their appearance. The bartender told me that Thurs. Well Thursday came and i hadnt seen them and asked another Bartender he had no clue. Asked another, he was pretty sure they werent gonna have any. I was kinda bummed and kinda gave up. Friday rolled around and we got back on the ship from Costa Maya and decided to go to dinner and as we were walking past the pool my husband said " BABY LOOK!!" And a server was carrying two around! So he stopped him. I was a very happy girl :D I dont know if there is a set day on them. Your best bet is to look at the pool bars. I found mine by the main pool. And a bunch of people had them. I saw them carrying them around for a good while.

I also got a blow fish, i believe it was Sunday, the first day at sea. And i told my hubby i HAD to have one!

I never saw the whale tail. But that is on my "to get" list on the next cruise.

I saw the Disco ball and really wanted it. But we were up on the Balcony for the "get ready" show and it was getting ready to start so i couldnt get one. And by the time we left, i was to tired to worry about it. And it was the last night on the ship. I believe they bring them out for the shows like "dancing in the streets" and "get ready" Thats where some people said they got theirs. But that is also on my "to get" list as well.

we also had 3 souvenir glasses i have a pink one and two clear ones. But one sadly cracked on the way home :(

But here is a pic of my coconut monkey heads and blow fish cup :D

We purchased 6 whale tail cups on our Liberty cruise in May with no drink in them. I wanted to bring them home as souvenirs for our family members who couldn't make the trip with us this time...they loved them. They were $4.95 + gratuity. I don't remember what day they had them but they were available for purchase with or without a drink at the Lido deck bars and the bar on the aft deck near the pizza. They had lots of them.

Ok - So I'm liking the $4.95 + grat for the cups. Up thread awhile back there was talk of refills in the cup being a little cheaper. I know that this applies to the traditional souvenir cup. Anyone have any recent experience with these cups? Part of me thinks that they would be a hassle to tote around though :)
