Help Choosing Star Forward Penthouse

We've just booked the Star out of Tampa this fall, and as a very wonderful treat DH wanted to book penthouse! Any comments or preferences on forward penthouses 9002 or 10000? Think the deck 10 rooms may be slightly larger than on deck 9, and the deck 9 balconies are larger. Have had an aft suite previously. Being in a suite once had definitely spoiled me!:D:D Thanks!

We went with deck 10, the rooms are quite a bit larger and the balcony is still pretty good. Both have night restrictions on light, you have to keep your shades drawn after dark to not affect the bridge. :D

I have been in 10005 and loved it. The views and privacy are amazing!

We booked an aft penthouse.....I think forward would be very windy on the balcony.

I just booked 10000 on the Gem for my first cruise next summer. So I'm looking forward to see what responses you get!

Had 10000 on Jewel last week and it was FABULOUS!! There was a lot more space than 9670 (which was my sister's aft penthouse). The balcony was pretty roomy too.

Thanks for the comments. I found some photos of the forward penthouse balconies and the ones on deck 9 were HUGE. We decided to go with suite 10000. Would prefer the larger room on deck 10 -- PCC said balcony is about 140 sq ft, so that is certainly big enough for us!!
