We are coming in to NY a day early for our Canada cruise leaving on Sept. 5th.

We are coming into Penn Station...NYC...and would like to find a hotel centrally located near the station and the pier.....if possible.

Would anyone have one to reccommend that is reasonally priced ...if such a thing exists in New York City! And clean...safe...???

THANKS SO MUCH.

You're better off trying Hotwire/Priceline. Hotel rooms here at regular prices can be a bit ridiculous, especially for out of towners who are used to lower prices. Anything in the midtown west/hell's kitchen/theater district/west side areas would be fine in terms of location.

We used p****line to book a night in NY at the end of June. The couple we were with had never been in NY and wanted to stay in Times Square. We paid 125 a night for the room at the Manhatten At Times Square. It was very centrally located and very clean. We got a cab to the pier the next day for $14.
