FOXYDEBBY Posted August 12, 2011 #1 Share Posted August 12, 2011 There will be 9 of us (3 kids). I don't think the kids will join us every night. Do you think there will be problems getting a table for 9 with anytime dining on the Valor? Thanks for the input!
serene56 Posted August 12, 2011 #2 Share Posted August 12, 2011 so without kids it will be 6 ? depends on when you are going to go to dinner,. camps are not opened until 7pm. so after that time you may have a wait with that many people. Very few large tables are available. 2/4 seatings are the majority of tables. there are some 6 seaters. for a group like that-- I suggest traditional. (especially for a holiday sailing) and if the kids dont join you-- you have extra room
*Mach* Posted August 12, 2011 #3 Share Posted August 12, 2011 Your Time Dining isn't recommended for larger groups. From Carnival: Since most tables are configured for parties up to 6 guests and many cannot be moved together to make larger tables, parties greater than 8 guests may need to be accommodated at several tables and the wait can sometimes be more than one hour. We highly suggest that parties of 8 or more guests choose the traditional assigned seating (6:00pm or 8:15pm) to assure sitting together at one table or several tables close together. https://www.goccl.com/irman/bookccl/sections/shipboard/DiningOnboard_master.html :)
Fourseventeen Posted August 12, 2011 #4 Share Posted August 12, 2011 I wouldnt recommend anytime dinning with that many people. The chances of you getting a table together will be real slim and if you do chances are you will be waiting awhile for it.
