Delta and Bankrupcy

Anyone else nervous about flights booked with Delta with the bankrupcy news lately? We are flying out Delta 3/23. Has anyone heard any news on flights?

Generally anyone booking with Delta should feel secure. They are financially ok till about Oct of 05. Then there is a good possiblility of Chap 11. Of course under Chap 11 protection they would continue flying until they find a sucessful reorganization and that can take a while. Their debt load is dizzying. They evidently are trying to sell off some subsidiarys such as Comair and Southeast Air. Of course, there is the possiblility of eventual liquidation somewhere down the road but I don't think many expect that.

Look how long United has been under Chapter 11. It almost makes you wonder if they are even trying to get out of it LOL. Then there's USAirways... LOL
