Preferably one that has a shuttle service from cruise pier to hotel & then hotel to airport? I would consider hollywood hotels within walking distance of the beach not just ft. Lauderdale. Its not really the best area for beach hotels to me. Since you indicate you need shuttles, I guess South Beach would not be a good choice either. Better beach areas just north of Ft. Lauderdale. I got a super cheap deal for $37 on lastminutetravel but dont see it now. It has free shuttles to the port and to the airport and a pool at the hotel. But not a classy hotel for sure.
