Are there 'official' meets and greets on Silverseas ships?

 

I have posted a few times on my upcoming voyage but can see no mention of this. I am a veteran cruiser of many lines including Crystal and Azamara where such meetings are hosted by the senior officers and where one can meet fellow CC'ers. It is nice to put a face to a name.

 

I am particularly impressed with Azamara who take these boards very seriously and have employed someone to read all the posts and be able to answer specific questions.

No, so far it is informal on Silversea. On last year's TA on the Spirit, "Ging" organized a get together for about 20+ ccers, and several SS staff members attended. She also organized a meet and greet at the Marriott in Lisbon the night before sailing. Kudos to Jennifer!
