If not booked on an excursion...

My hubby and I will be in Grand Cayman next Tuesday. I just wanted to go to the beach and have fun without spending tons of money through Carnival with their excursions. What are some good beaches to go to? Also, how much is a cab to these beaches? What else should we try while we are there?

You can catch a bus or cab to Seven Mile beach which is fairly close. WIfe and I had a great time there.

Royal Palms is a great area on 7 mile. You can rent a beach chair for $10, then if you want to eat/drink you pay separately. we like it for the great pool, which is not for children, so makes it even better for us!

Beach is free. Pool is for patrons (buy lunch). Crowds vary depending on how many ships are in port.
