Child Transportation Passes

Am I correct in my understanding that tourist children pay the same price as adults for single and multiple transportation tickets, and for the transportation passes? I see the paragraph that to qualify for a student/child ticket, the child must be wearing a uniform and/or have a student ID. Is this policy followed? Thanks!

Tourist children pay half the adult fair. The uniform and student ID is for resident children.
