Happy ks Posted August 23, 2011 #26 Share Posted August 23, 2011 I look at the knock offs and it's just like comparing cheap sneakers with well made sneakers. They are both sneakers, but the well made pair will last 10 times longer. I took a sewing class last year, in support and to be of assistance to my daughter. I already know how to sew. I tried to make my tote (typical first project) as well made as a VB bag. I probably spent 30 hours on the bag to make it perfect and match the inside and outside fabrics(grain and pattern not color). Between the cost of materials and labor (we had to use minimum wage for our paper) my cost ended up being $85! I gave the tote to a friend who loves it, she has a one-of-a-kind! lovemylab Posted August 23, 2011 #27 Share Posted August 23, 2011 Are you sure? This sure looks like paisley to me: http://www.verabradley.com/category/Color/Boysenberry/799/pc/639.uts As do these: http://www.verabradley.com/category/Color/Lemon-Parfait/801/pc/639.uts http://www.verabradley.com/category/Color/Simply-Violet/747/pc/639.uts And this one is even named Paisley: http://www.verabradley.com/category/Color/Very-Berry-Paisley/753/pc/639.uts Many others, although not strictly paisley, do have a paisley look about them as well. I think her comment about none of the bags having a paisley print is in reference to the VB bags that she owns. I didn't read it as her suggesting that none of the VB bags available in the stores have a paisley print.
