travel insurance

our travel insurance plan seems to be a reimbursment plan type. is there any policy that the ships infirmary accepts as direct payment and not where you have to pay upfront and then submit your bill. does anyone know?

No there is not.

Even your home doctor is reimbursement, however, as a courtesy to the customer/patient they do file with your insurance company. That's why some doctors offices don't accept certain patients. They choose not to deal with that patients insurance company.

 

Could you imagine a ship having to try to deal with 150,000 different insurance companies from around the world?
