Taxi $ for French Riviera

Does anyone have any idea of the app. cost for the following o/w or round trips via Taxi vs taking public transportation:

1/ Monaco to Eze

2/ Monaco to St Paul de Vence

3/ Monaco to Gassin

4/ St Tropez to St Paul de Vence

5/ St Tropez to Gassin

We need to talk about French taxis. On the south coast there really are not a lot of taxis and they are very expensive for anything other then a short local trip. Because there are not many taxis, there is not even a guarantee you will find one at the port. In Monte Carlo we usually see some taxis outside the major hotels, and of course, you can do what the French do and simply call a taxi. As to cost, from Monte Carlo to Eze would probably be about 35 - 40 Euros. From Monte Carlo to St Paul de Vence it would really be expensive....A good guess might be 120 Euros. From St Tropez to St Paul you probably would need to buy the taxi :) This trip takes nearly 1 1/2 hours (each way) and is about 60 miles.

hi, i guess you might have to sell a kidney to fund this.

 

if you are a confident driver then i would rent a car with a gps and full insurance, it will be much cheaper than the smallest taxi journey you have planned.

 

it would be a mistake to try to go from st. tropez to st paul as "the road" from st tropez is a traffic blackspot.

You should look into hiring a private guide for the day or half day.
