Full Day in Sanary Sur Mer

It seems like there is not a whole lot of things to see in this picturesque little town as the two ship excursions right away take you to Cassis & Bandol or Le Castellet. Are either of these recommended? Or Toulon seems to be reasonably close. Any help is appreciated!

toulon is nothing special. cassis and the bandol is great. bandol is where the worlds best rose wine comes from.... cassis and a walk in the calaques would be great.

get to wonder around the calanques if you can, with sporty shoes.

a image is worth a thousand words...

We have returned from our cruise, and I have to say that Sanary Sur Mer was one of our favorite ports of the entire cruise! What a charming spot. We actually just stayed in town. The harbor with it's colorful fishing boats, lunch in one of the cafes, farmer's market and a swim in the warm Med sea was perfect. Maybe next time we will venture further.

this experience could be really useful for your trip:

If you like the beach, beautiful landscapes, contrast of landscapes, Cassis waits you : to discover its creeks, cap canialles and beaches. Those cities: Sanary, Bandol, Bornes are small cities very very French, here you can have a walk in the city center ( small distances) and have a drink oreven lunch on the port and it is sure that three of those cities have also sandy beaches. Finally, it is necessary to notice that in most of these cities, you will find always a market.
