Never cruised alone before but I'm considering this particular cruise. Any insite on what should be expected from a 'singles' cruise from those that have done this before would be much appreciated. Also what makes this specific cruise more likely to attract singles?

A former co-worker of mine pointed me to this site just last night. Looks interested. Looking for tips of what to bring and do on this trip.

Because there'll be a singles groups going on this cruise silly!!! :-) There will be alot more singles, most likely 300+ on a sailing that has a singles group going than those that don't. You're lucky if you can even find 10 other singles then. It's going to be fun. I'm looking forward to it.

I just made a reservation on this cruise and have to pay in full by tomorrow morning, but I have a few questions. Can I just go through CCL or do I need to book through the singles cruise site. They charge about $125 more but insist that that's the only way that I'll be included in the special actitivies. Does anyone have experience on these organized sinlges cruises from the past to know how I need to book this cruise. I have NEVER cruised by myself, so this is a first for me and I'm a little hesitant but need a vacation. Thanks for your help!

you have to book with the group to partisapate in all group activities,since you traveling by yourself I would go with a group you'll have a much better time.i used to go by myself and it was hard meeting people than i switched to going with a group and had a much better time.If you go by yourself you never know if there be many singles on the cruise but with a group you'll know there will be.

you don't need to book through the agency to meet the singles....but you do have to book through them to get invited to the events they hold and to dine with the others in the group.

 

I've book with the agency before. It's good if you are going alone because you won't have to eat by yourself at dinner. If you are somewhat social person, you will have no problems meeting singles on the ship. They are in the casino, in the jacuzzi, the bars, the night clubs....just like everyone else.

 

With that said, I booked on my own for the Halloween cruise....used the money Is aved to upgrade my room.
