hlb76 Posted August 30, 2011 #1 Share Posted August 30, 2011 Hello I was wondering once I got my legal booze ordered for my room what is the best way to carry it around? I'm a big fan on vodka lemonade so I plan to mix them on the lido. I really don't want to carry my bottle of vodka around in my bag or run back to the room everytime I need a refill. Any suggestions? ATL2LAS Posted August 30, 2011 #2 Share Posted August 30, 2011 You won't be able to carry the actual bottle onto the lido. No glass bottles allowed. You may want to invest in a flask or water bottle that you can carry.

Perhaps you could find a way to tie it around your neck, like with a lasso of some sort.

AWCHIEF Posted August 30, 2011 #5 Share Posted August 30, 2011 As a reformed smuggler I had a couple of rum runners left over from my days of flaunting the rules. I take those and fill them from my BV purchased bottles. Works great.

drosphot Posted August 30, 2011 #7 Share Posted August 30, 2011 I use these made by Rubbermaid called a Chug Bottle, 20 oz with a flip top.

Not if they're empty they won't. If you're really concerned toss 'em in your carry on! :)

Camelbak! They allow you to bring alcohol on Disney cruise line and we filled our hiking backpack up. Or just a Contigo water bottle...they're nice because they have little handles and they're pretty big and whatnot.
BigDfromTN Posted August 30, 2011 #10 Share Posted August 30, 2011 Recycle a water bottle, or soda bottle. Works great for me!

elcuchio24 Posted August 30, 2011 #12 Share Posted August 30, 2011 We usually mix them in our room so don't have much of an issue, but also bring a small flask if we want a drink while out and about. Just make sure not to bring the bottle out of the room, they are pretty strict on the 'no glass on the lido' rule.
geckog Posted August 30, 2011 #13 Share Posted August 30, 2011 I just bought one of these: http://www.smugglemug.com They have blank ones so that it doesn't have "Smuggle" emblazoned on the front. In all honesty, the company was not exactly communicative during the order process, and it took a while to get, but it DOES work. :)
truchattycathy Posted August 30, 2011 #14 Share Posted August 30, 2011 We use an empty water bottle for such purposes. But as suggested a bubba keg holds a lot, and then you don't have to worry about refills as often.

crusinpsychRN Posted August 30, 2011 #16 Share Posted August 30, 2011 Bubba Keg! Mine isn't quite that but pretty close. B&P stations sell a giant mug with top. That's why I get a cabin aft and only have to go so far to the cabin.
