IZZYDAD Posted August 31, 2011 #1 Share Posted August 31, 2011 What the weather like in early December in Cabo? Is it to cold to swim. Is it still shorts weather? Rainy or dry?
Durangler Posted August 31, 2011 #2 Share Posted August 31, 2011 Weather's great in Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan & Puerto Vallarta. Warmest in Cabo. Light clothing and a hat! Not much rain. Not as humid. Water is cooling, but this Arizonan still swam and enjoyed. Very good time to head to the Mexican Riviera. :)
lovevacadays Posted September 2, 2011 #3 Share Posted September 2, 2011 I've been there a few times in December and the weather was fantastic. No problem wearing shorts. I think the water is always a bit cool along the Mexican Riviera but that's just me.

December is one of those magical months, warm in the day and cools off at night to the point of needing ac blanket at some of the outdoor venues. quincytoo Posted December 22, 2011 #7 Share Posted December 22, 2011 My friends who live in Puerto Vallarta say it has been cooler lately then most winters. Sweaters in the morning and night, during the day shorts and tee shirts should be fine.

I think much depends what climate you are used to and where you live. We are now in PV and indeed I see some sweaters early in the morning. However I walk around in my t-shirt. At night I just need a shawl to cover my arms and back. During the day it is nice, sunny and warm. Check http://www.weather.com before you leave and see what to expect for the coming 10 days. Mauizach Posted December 27, 2011 #10 Share Posted December 27, 2011 Early morning and evening a windbreaker is sometimes nice to have just in case. On board upper decks my wife follows the same pattern. After the last England cruise nothing is cold in Mexico anymore to me!
househunter Posted December 27, 2011 #11 Share Posted December 27, 2011 Cabo has been unusally cool recently to according to my friends who live there. 60's- low 70's during the day and low 50's at night. It is usually much warmer during the day in December but the nights almost always require long pants and jackets.
lindzann Posted January 3, 2012 #12 Share Posted January 3, 2012 What about the weather in Mid-Jan in PV and Cabo? Water temp for snorkeling okay with 2/3mm wetsuits?
