Help...need advice about IAH to Harbor House in Galveston

We'll be cruising on the Mariner on Jan. 8, 2012. I need to know the cheapest or the best way to get from IAH to Harbor house in Galveston. We've cruised out of Galveston before, but always have problems with the trasportation. Any suggestions?

Look up the Super Shuttle...it's on the web. I think right now it is one of the cheapest ways to get to the Island from both airports. It will take you to the Port of Galveston or hotels. Just google it!

Telephone the hotel and ask them what shuttle service gives their guests the best service. That's what I do.

 

I've had mixed results with Super Shuttle especially when they have multi-stops prior to my drop off and not a dedicated shuttle to my destination area.

I'll try all of those. I think sometimes the super shuttles take a little too long to get to the destination, but the limos cost fortune. We've had the limos on two previous cruises. We like to try something less expensive. By the way, are there any of you going on the Mariner on Jan. 8, 2012? Let us know, like to make friends........

Go get on the roll calls thread for your sail date...you might find some people that are willing to share a ride on the shuttle with you!

I booked a PRIVATE shuttle from supershuttle to take us to galveston and back..I phoned direct instead of using their website!

It was $145 each way, but there are 4 of us plus the luggage, so i figured we would have more room!
