Do packing cubes/bags/folders etc. save space????

Me too...I do 1 shoe per bag

I try to fit a pair of shoes in one sleeve, but if I bring my clunky tennis shoes, they have to each have their own. I have two pairs of sleeves, so I can usually fit 4 pairs of shoes and I rarely take more than that. My flip flops go in a ziplock bag.

I grabbed a bunch of unused shoe bags on our Air France flights (from our seat neighbors)- I think I have 6 now:D

 

I'm still torn on packing cubes. I use a couple but don't think they add a lot. I'm probably on the fence, opinion-wise, because I haven't fully committed to a cube packing strategy:p
