chris2597 Posted September 6, 2011 #2 Share Posted September 6, 2011 We have done this a couple of times, as we have family that lives in the WPB area. The rates vary from 32.00 to close to 100.00. I kept looking on the internet for price reductions and coupon codes. Have you considered flying into Ft. Lauderdale. FLL is typically less expensive that PBI and also closer to Miami. JohninDC Posted September 6, 2011 #3 Share Posted September 6, 2011 Both Avis and Hertz have downtown Miami locations very close to POM ($10 cab ride if they will not shuttle you). Thrifty and some others out at the MIA airport car rental center will shuttle you to POM - the shuttle ride takes about 15+ minutes.
