Steamers restaurant, St. Johns?

Hi, I ate there last Ocotober, I really didn't think it was very good, it felt dirty inside. Alot of people were getting the lobster dinner special, the lobsters were very small. I had fried calamari and the lobster soup, they serve cocktail sauce with the calamari instead of marinara (which is how I prefer it) and the soup wasn't a bisque, it was actually brothy and almost brown. Enjoy your trip!

We enjoyed Steamers -- directly across from the dock -- seating outside, as well as inside. Lobster roll with sweet potato fries and very thick clam chowder was very good -- typical wood tables with paper lobster decorated placemats -- nothing super remarkable about the place, but convenient. Places in the mall area looked nice, but they are a walk -- can be inclement weather in Saint John and HILLY. Vicki:)

Steamers was a good place to eat, would eat there again, yes the clam chowder was very good. It didn't look like much, but they have good food.
