Epic Med recent disembarkation--How early?

Anyone recently disembark in Barcelona and head straight to the airport? If so, how early did you disembark and what was your flight time? How long did it take to get off the ship? Long wait for a taxi?

 

We'll carry off our own luggage and will be taking a taxi. No prearranged private transfer. 11AM flight. From what I gather it's about 30min drive, 2 hr flight checkin. So if we leave our standard balcony cabin at say 7AM, do you think that'll be OK assuming no customs issuing at the port? This will be 9/25/11 and it looks like Carnival Magic will also be ending a cruise that date.

Your timing should be just fine. We had a 10:30 flight and left the ship about 6:45. They line up the taxis about 4 or 5 at a time and there was no wait for us. There is a long line of them waiting to get into a parking slot to take on passengers. We were at the airport checking in by 7:30.
