jbhermes Posted September 8, 2011 #1 Share Posted September 8, 2011 Hi all! I thought I had my cruiseline narrowed down to Princess because I could order an all you can drink softdrink non-alcholic drink package for my hubby. But then I saw that there are some great sales for Carnival Cruises going on right now. But I've searched their website and don't see anything about being able to order all you can drink packages or anything like that. Does anyone here know if that type of thing is available on Carnival? And if so, is there somewhere I can go to learn more about it?
DaytonCruiser Posted September 8, 2011 #2 Share Posted September 8, 2011 http://www.carnival.com/Funville/blogs/faqs/archive/2010/04/08/what-is-the-unlimited-soda-program.aspx Carnival Cruise Lines will offer all guests the option to purchase a “Bottomless Bubbles” unlimited soda program which will allow the guest unlimited soft drinks and juices for the duration of the cruise at a one-time purchase price. Prices are as follows – a 15% gratuity will be added. Child Rate Per Day $4.50 (17 years of age and younger) Adult Rate Per Day $6.00 (18 years of age and older) Upon purchasing the “Bottomless Bubbles” unlimited soda program, a sticker will be placed on the guest’s Sail & Sign card. “Bottomless Bubbles” can be purchased at the ship’s Casino Bar and Pool Bar. In all areas where beverage service is offered, guests may show the “Bottomless Bubbles” sticker and receive a glass of the carbonated soft drink of their choice. Juices may also be requested. One 16 ounce glass will be served at a time and only to the guest whose name appears on the Sail & Sign card with the “Bottomless Bubbles” sticker attached. The “Bottomless Bubbles” unlimited soda program is non-transferable and may not be shared. Guests or family members who would like to enjoy soft drinks through this program must purchase their own sticker. One beverage serving, per sticker, will be served at a time. sunkey1 Posted September 8, 2011 #3 Share Posted September 8, 2011 Carnival does offer a "soda card" that gets you unlimited soda for the week, but that is about it for the unlimited options. I know it's on their website somewhere, just not sure where. Celebrity offers great drink packages but I don't know if you've considered them or not. FloridaGators Posted September 8, 2011 #12 Share Posted September 8, 2011 I just wanted to say that you CAN get soda before 9 a.m. You can order it at breakfast in the MDR.
serene56 Posted September 8, 2011 #13 Share Posted September 8, 2011 A first time cruiser- go with the cruise for the better price. Princess is always more money for us. You can always buy your DH funship dollars where he can buy his milkshakes or smoothies. then when you discover how much you love cruising=- then try princess. I dont know if I could decide on what cruise to take based on the soda program
Fingers4 Posted April 9, 2012 #14 Share Posted April 9, 2012 Can you also get "mock"tails - alcohol-free drinks like daqaries, etc. with the Bottomless Bubbles pkg? Also, please confirm that in addition to soda, can you also get tonic water; juice (what kind?) club soda Also, the 15% gratuity - is this included in the $6 a day - or do they charge the 15% over and above the fee you pay for the soda card and charge it to your Sign & Sail Card? Confused and need clarification. Thanks for your help. :)
noxiousdog Posted April 9, 2012 #15 Share Posted April 9, 2012 Also, if you wait until you're far enough at sea to buy the card, you won't get hit with sales tax.
