All you can drink

Hi all! I thought I had my cruiseline narrowed down to Princess because I could order an all you can drink softdrink non-alcholic drink package for my hubby. But then I saw that there are some great sales for Carnival Cruises going on right now. But I've searched their website and don't see anything about being able to order all you can drink packages or anything like that. Does anyone here know if that type of thing is available on Carnival? And if so, is there somewhere I can go to learn more about it?

http://www.carnival.com/Funville/blogs/faqs/archive/2010/04/08/what-is-the-unlimited-soda-program.aspx

Carnival Cruise Lines will offer all guests the option to purchase a “Bottomless Bubbles” unlimited soda program which will allow the guest unlimited soft drinks and juices for the duration of the cruise at a one-time purchase price. Prices are as follows – a 15% gratuity will be added.

Child Rate Per Day $4.50 (17 years of age and younger)

Adult Rate Per Day $6.00 (18 years of age and older)

Upon purchasing the “Bottomless Bubbles” unlimited soda program, a sticker will be placed on the guest’s Sail & Sign card. “Bottomless Bubbles” can be purchased at the ship’s Casino Bar and Pool Bar.

In all areas where beverage service is offered, guests may show the “Bottomless Bubbles” sticker and receive a glass of the carbonated soft drink of their choice. Juices may also be requested. One 16 ounce glass will be served at a time and only to the guest whose name appears on the Sail & Sign card with the “Bottomless Bubbles” sticker attached.

The “Bottomless Bubbles” unlimited soda program is non-transferable and may not be shared. Guests or family members who would like to enjoy soft drinks through this program must purchase their own sticker.

One beverage serving, per sticker, will be served at a time.

Soft drink is served by the glass (16 ounces); juice is served by the glass (10 ounces).

The program cannot be used through room service or the Interactive TV system, where applicable, or the minibar, where applicable.

Note: The following beverages are available in the Lido Deck Restaurant, 24/7 and are complimentary: Coffee; Hot Tea; Hot Chocolate; Lemonade; Ice Tea.

Carnival does offer a "soda card" that gets you unlimited soda for the week, but that is about it for the unlimited options. I know it's on their website somewhere, just not sure where. Celebrity offers great drink packages but I don't know if you've considered them or not.

be warned, your husband will not be able to get a soda until the bars open at 9:00 a.m. you have to pay for them from room service. thats why I carry a 12 pack of diet cokes on with me for the room. That is my morning caffine... :D

No, carnival does NOT have the ultimate drink package like princess.

Carnival does have a unlimited soda package (which costs almost near the price of the ultimate drinks package on Princess)

Carnival soda card is like 55.00 for a 7 day cruise.

Princess ultimate soda package

Indulge yourself with this premium Unlimited Soda & more Package,† entitling you to the above Unlimited Soda Package plus any mocktails, juices, shakes, floats and complimentary hot chocolate throughout your cruise. Price includes service charge. 8.05per day total

Carnival offers iced tea= lemonade all day-

Princess ultimate soda package

a cost of a smoothie on carnival is 4.95 plus gratuity.

Apple juice is only available in the morning and from room service.

Princess has all juices available at any bar all day.

A first time cruiser- go with the cruise for the better price.

Princess is always more money for us.

You can always buy your DH funship dollars where he can buy his milkshakes or smoothies.

then when you discover how much you love cruising=- then try princess.

I dont know if I could decide on what cruise to take based on the soda program

Can you also get "mock"tails - alcohol-free drinks like daqaries, etc. with the Bottomless Bubbles pkg? Also, please confirm that in addition to soda, can you also get tonic water; juice (what kind?) club soda

Also, the 15% gratuity - is this included in the $6 a day - or do they charge the 15% over and above the fee you pay for the soda card and charge it to your Sign & Sail Card?

Confused and need clarification. Thanks for your help. :)

No mocktails with the bottomless bubbles package. It does include all juices, club soda, seltzer, and all other sodas.

No additional gratuity is charged:)
