Does anyone know which islands (if any) offer a cycling excursion or a place to rent bicycles?

Corfu definitely does. We did a mountain biking tour with the ship. Very arduous (1.5 hours uphill) but beautiful. I think all the islands do.

My DW and I are avid cyclists. I bike over 5000 miles a year. Having been to Corfu and several of the Greek Islands, I would STRONGLY advise against trying to bike on any of the major Greek Islands.

The roads are narrow. There are no bike lanes. The driving there is more aggressive than in the USA.

If you value your life, forget biking on Corfu.

Now if you want to consider Tuscany or the Loire Valley of France, that is another matter. Bike and Barge tours are available in the Loire Valley and wonderful bike tours in Tuscany.

that is what I needed to know. As a fairly new cyclist, I think I prefer living.
