cruz guy Posted September 12, 2011 #1 Share Posted September 12, 2011 I remember this being brought up in the past, but don't remember the answer. We are traveling with another couple. Their son may or may not be cruising with us, at this point just not sure. We plan on cruising in January 2012. Would it be best to book a cabin that will hold 3 people and just book the cabin with two people and then if he comes, then add him... OR should we book for all three and just cancel the third person in the cabin if he decides not to come. Anyone have any suggestions?
Toto2Kansas Posted September 12, 2011 #2 Share Posted September 12, 2011 I would book three, as there are times when the 3rd (and 4th) passenger limit has been reached and you can not add more to that stateroom. You would be safer to book all three in a cabin now, just in case the ship exceeds it's 3rd berth limits.
patatie Posted September 12, 2011 #3 Share Posted September 12, 2011 I would book three too. There are far more two person staterooms than there are three person staterooms.
Rare curlybelle2 Posted September 12, 2011 #4 Share Posted September 12, 2011 I would book 3 people. I believe the cabins that hold 3 or 4 passenger are limited. Better safe than sorry.:)

lovevacadays Posted September 13, 2011 #6 Share Posted September 13, 2011 Yep, book three so you are sure the ship doesn't reach capacity before you are able to add the third person. However, I think you will then need to pay a deposit for the third person as well.
