NOLA hotel that offers airport and cruise port shuttle

I was wondering if there is a hotel that offers airport and cruise port shuttles. If not, is the cruise port in a good area of town to stay in? Never been to New Orleans, would love some advise.

This is the info I received when checking recently; it seems that some of the hotels (Holiday Inn Superdome, for one) can provide shuttle service from their hotel to the cruise port:

 

 

"Unfortunately, due to city ordinances, we are prevented from being able to pick up or drop off anyone at the airport. The airport, however, does offer a shuttle service to downtown area hotels and here is their website: www.airportshuttleneworleans.com. There will also be plenty of taxis available and a taxi usually costs approximately $32.00."

Iv still been dropped off at the port, just they cant pick up.

The airport is in a different parish (county) than the city. Only airport shuttles are for hotels near the airport.

The port is in downtown New Orleans. It is next to the Convention Center, the Riverwalk and the Hilton Hotel (but there are other hotels in the immediate area across from the convention center).
