Stingray Beach - Prebook with NCL or day of arrival?

Stingray Beach looks good. It's $59 per adult/$29 per child pre-booked on NCL (Star in February). Is it possible to save some money by arranging it at the dock on day of arrival? If so, how much and how's it work...i.e. are there 'salesmen' on the pier waiting to hook you up with this tour, or do you take a taxi to Stingray Beach?

TIA.
