Cadiz to Jerez taxi

Can anyone tell me how much a taxi would cost from the cruise terminal at Cadiz to the Horse school in Jerez?

 

Also will there be taxis that take 6, in my experience in Spain in the past there are only taxis for 4.

 

Thanks, we are going next month and I have no interest in doing a ships tour but would love to see the horses training.

Hard to say. Jerez is not that far (40-45 km) but then taxi has to go back empty. Can always ask the driver. We were there 2 years ago; lots of taxi drivers are in port and some were selling round trip tours to Jerez bodegas for 135-150 euro per car. Train station is 10-15 min walk from dock; round trip is 10 pp.

You are talking several hundred Euros for a taxi (think what it would cost to take a taxi 30 miles at home). The train is not that difficult and very inexpensive.

I've not done it by train, but others have said the same as Hank.

You'll need taxi/s from the rail station in Jerez to the Eschuela Real, but it's only a short hop.

 

If you're planning to see the Dressage Show, it's safer to pre-book seats.

 

Armed with the options and train times, and knowing the time of the Show if applicable, there's no reason why you can't decide on-the-fly.

 

The Sandeman bodega is only a few hundred yards from the Eschuela -probably not the best bodega in Jerez, but handy.
