Pearl Penthouse Furniture (Updated??)

Hello all,

First time posting! My partner and I are considering booking the Aft Penthouse on the NCL Pearl, but curious as to whether the furniture has recently been updated to a more contemporary look. David is not a big fan of what the NCL site shows as photos for this room, but I believe some of the photos I have seen are quite different and want to be sure. If anyone has been in any of these rooms recently and has a photo, please share as well as any thoughts on these rooms you may have.

Not sure who "Mom and Dad" are in the mix here, but if multi generations are sharing a cabin, you should consider the 2 BR vs aft penthouse which is one large room.

This cruise (Pearl) would simply be David and I, so just need room enough for the 2 of us. Know the Penthouse will be the right size, but unsure if David will be happy with the decor. (alot of pink in the photos on the NCL site - couch, chair, bedding... - just may be a bit much for 7 days.)

 

As for Mom & Dad, they are David's parents and are joining us on the Epic - which we know is plenty contemporary and will fit our space needs for 4.
