cruisemama5 Posted September 19, 2011 #1 Share Posted September 19, 2011 I am going on the partial transit cruise to the Panama Canal on HAL Zuiderdam on December. I have been looking at the excursions available and was surprised not to find one to the Indian Village. I had read about it previously and was looking forward to that one, but found it is not offered. So I am wondering if any of you out there have been on this ship/cruise and what excursion you would suggest? Thank you for your help!:)
BillB48 Posted September 20, 2011 #2 Share Posted September 20, 2011 I have not been on that ship/ but on a similar cruise, I would wait before you commit to anything as that tour may show up later. If for some reason it does not, the tour that does the Pacific Locks, (Canal by Ferry... or what ever they call it?) maybe something of interest or a trip on the train. There may also be a trip that takes in the Old Panama and the Casco Antiguo (often call Colonial Panama) that maybe of interest. At worst you stay aboard for the return trip through the locks and the trip to the dock in Colon, no bad choices.
cruisemama5 Posted September 20, 2011 Author #3 Share Posted September 20, 2011 Thank you BillB48. I am hoping the Indian Village excursion will show up. But thanks for the other information on other excursions, too.
