What time does boarding begin in Copenhagen for the 11 day Scandinavian and Russia cruise?

What are the taxi fares from the airport and pre-cruise listed hotels to the pier.

Just trying to make some decisions for next summer, thanks.

We did a precruise package with Princess at First Hotel SKT Petri in Copenhagen. --Usually not a fan of Princess package but All was wonderful! We missed our Sunday evening flight (cancelled but rebooked on Monday)thanks to Hurricane Irene but Princess was there to pick us up along with others Tuesday am (they had been advised we would be a day late)--transfer to Hotel very quick with a Narration along the way about Copenhagen. Very organized --checkin to recieve your time for transfer to the ship started at 12:15 PM & we were on board in our cabins by 1PM. Actually they started to board the bus earlier than that--we were outside waiting in the chairs-Princess rep came out & said anyone on 12:15 bus we are ready. Not sure how they determined what time your bus departed but I think had to do with we had a 2 night package or 2 of the 4 of us are Platinum. We did have to have our luggage out by 7AM & was transferred right to the cabin. Princess reps at the hotel very helpful with directions & resturants suggestions. Hotel is very close to the walking area of Copenhagen plus to a great grocery store for wine/champagne & other items you may have forgetten-toothpaste, deoderant etc! We also walked to take a canal boat ride plus walked to Tivoli Gardens -all close by. With our package it included a fantanstic buffet breakfast (we were not aware of it-asked price if off the street-$38 American) that had everything available therefore we did not eat until dinner but did have a quick lite snack mid afternoon. Princess offered a Princess tour of Copenhagen for $90 USD on the morning of embarkation & then would take you directly top the ship by 12:30PM or so. The disembarkation info we received advised about taxis --will try to scan it for you so should hold true for reverse trip. In CPH use your ATM card everywhere--very simple & easy. We did need Danish Kroner in Aarhus as would only accept Danish money & Danish credit cards if you are going there. Hope this helped!

Taxi from airport to pier cost us 375 DKK = 50 Euro paid by credit card. Note:- most taxis take credit cards and that a tip is included in the cost. We gave an additional tip of 10% so the real fare would have been only about 340 DKK. The embarkation process is done from a canvas covered area. We got there about 11.00 am, all people were given a number card and called forward by group in turn when the many desks were opened at midday. The embarkation was very rapid and we were on board at 12.10. We went to our cabin and got rid of the carry on then went to the dining room. I see from other posts that port day lunch in the dining room may now be a thing of the past. If like us you don't favour the buffet then go to the International cafe for a nice light lunch. Enjoy!:)

Just came back from the Baltic Emerald Cruise 3 weeks ago. We boarded the ship around 12 noon. From the airport we took a shared taxi to our hotel (Comfort Inn, Marriott) close to Tivoli Garden for 400 DK. The taxi go by meter. From our hotel to the Pier cost us $33 and most taxi accept credit cards. The cruise was fantastic and the staff of Emerald are very efficient and friendly, I know you will enjoy this trip.
