"best" tours in jamaica?

we would like to do the river falls and white river tubing.

 

what do u recommend for safety/price? :)

 

we will be landing in ocho rios from carnival liberty next week.

Have never done the tubing, but out of our over 60 cruises, Dunn's river falls is our alltime favorite excursion . I have heard from friends that the river tubing is also very good, maybe we will try it on our 10/1 cruise. Have a great cruise.

We did the Dunn River Falls/White River Tubing trip last year with Peat Taylor tours. Everyone associated with the tour (Peat and Peat, Jr.) could not have been more helpful and knowledgeable. We felt completely safe during the entire tour. (You will have other guides for the Falls and the tubing, but no worries there either.) I didn't find a price anywhere better than what they were offering.

I agree with Yazoo. We've only been to Jamaica once and did Dunn's River Falls and it remains one of our favorite excursions. It is not to be missed.

Another vote for Peat Taylor! We just returned this week and we used him. We did a self guided tour- we basically told him what we wanted to do and he took us to the best places for it. It was $20 a person and it was the BEST $20 I spent on the entire trip :D

Another vote for Peat Taylor. Have toured with him several times. He is the best!!! He will take you to the falls and tubing and whatever else you wanna do. We did the tubing last time we were in Jamaica and it was a blast.

We went last August with Peat Taylor and his guys and they did a good job for us. One couple didn't show back up at the bus at DRF, so we left without them......evidently they got back to the parking lot just a few minutes later and Peat went back to get them. We also had them take us to the Blue Hole, which was quite an experience!

We've done the Dunn's River Falls trip with Peat Taylor several times and have enjoyed it everytime. Peat will make sure you get to see the "real" island too at half the price the ships charge.

Marva Shaw is GREAT!!!! Her son and I still keep in touch.....he took us out for the best day...we saw all sorts of things...amazing visit because of him , check it out on Jamacia ports of call threads!!!! Tons of info there!!!

We took The Dunn's river falls tour in April and used Marva Shaw. We would highly recommend them. We paid a very good price and they were great.

Our last cruise we hired a taxi for the day. I dont remember the price I negotiated but I think around $60 for the day (there were 4 of us and I think $15 pp maybe $20) He drove us all over the island and took us to the fishing village for lunch.Again im not sure but I think the same village the tube riders end up.The best fish I have ever had and cooked on a rim of a car with charcoal

We used Pete Taylor and his son little Pete -or repeat. He was wonderful! I dont know if he does the tubing, but we did the falls and then he asked us what we wanted to do. We chose to visit a school, flea market, and drive around and sight see. We may have done something else too, I cant remember. He gave us safety tips, so we felt very safe the whole time. Highly recommend.

Peat Taylor Tours are great, we used him in August, it was great. We went to Rose Hall but would recommend him for any tour!!

Another vote for Pete Taylor very great tour i understand he does falmouth and montego bay tours, at the time i did a Ocho Rios tour which entailed river tubing and dunn's river. it was awesome:)

We used Peat Taylor two years ago and plan to use him again this February. DRF is a must but my favorite was the river tubing. We were on the Liberty also and my grown children say that was their favorite excursion of the entire cruise.
