Comfortable walking shoes for Italy

Now I need to find "closed toe shoes". I went to the SAS store but

as much as the Merrell's cost? SAS is in the $150.00 range.

I will keep looking.

 

Someone posted a cute pair of KEEN'S and those are supposed to be

quite comfy too. I saw them on Zappo's for about 70 bucks;)

The Agave's are a perfect travel sandal. 5*'s from me! The are ok looking and are sooooo comfy. :)

For our trip to the Netherlands last year, I bought a pair of Clarks, http://www.zappos.com/clarks-wave-run They are far and away the most comfortable pair of walking shoes I've ever owned. They feel like wearing a pair of slippers, but have excellent support and are even quite waterproof. I also have a great pair of Dansko sandals, which I wore extensively in Italy and France on earlier trips. (It was cold and rainy a lot last summer, so I think on this trip I only wore them once.) The exact model I have is petty old, and the bottom is black, but it's something like this one. http://www.zappos.com/dansko-sissy-brown-pull-up I can't generally wear Danskos, and definitely can't wear clogs, but these sandals work for me because of the ability to adjust the fit with more than one buckle.
