What do you think of "Breakaway" as a name for a cruise ship?

as long as it doesn't break apart its fine with me. Never really care what the name of the ship is.

 

Its not like it comes when you call its name, especially when your sailing isn't for afew more months and want to leave now instead.

I think it is the dumbest name I have yet seen. "Journey", Getaway", and others would have been better. We're not out of good marketing names yet.

 

Anyone ever fly into Milan, Italy's "Malpense" airport?

 

Split the word in two; " Mal pense", it essentially means "bad thoughts"! :eek:

 

Funny you should say that, the next ship is the "Getaway" I believe.

Just kidding; the name Breakway is actually not too bad. If it wasn't for association of the word "break" with mechanical breakdowns, it'd work pretty well.

Journey would have been better.

 

I personally do not like the hull art. They also have the art on the outside walls on the promenade deck which reminds me of something you would find in a daycare center.
