So anybody got any ideas about what the "big news" is that John and the beards are going to be announcing tomorrow in New York? New Ships? More details about a revamped loyalty program? New "new menues," or something else?

Not a week goes by that John does not have some "big news" to tell. Usually it is something that in reality is no big deal at all. He just likes to hype things up to get attention to his sites. It works, he is a master showman.

most likely it is about the dry dock. I don't think carnival is ready to release the new loyalty program yet, considering they just released the new menus recently

Just introduced Gerry.......he is tall and I am round, we looked like the number . We are announcing Carnival 2.0 which will involve eventually the whole fleet and will cost approx $ 500 million dollars.

Guy's Burger Joint and another Mexican theme restaurant is coming to the ships too..carnival wants to improve the food onboard the ships

i saw about the Guy Burgers being on the Liberty first before it is rolled out fleetwide--

 

Carnival Liberty will have the first Guy Fieri burger bar and will feature his gourmet burgers and his barbecue sauce. This will then evolve around the fleet through ( dates to follow later ) and he is here right now on stage and saying how excited he is. It's called Guys Burger Joint

Actually, both were more food oriented - the Mexican cantina and the Burger Bar are both more about food than drinks.
