Ok so warning this may be long and detailed but if you still have questions ill try to answer.

I live in WV and its about a 3 hour drive to Baltimore so the idea just driving to port enticed me so then it was just a matter of lining up a cruise with my husbands vacation. Hence the October cruise. The night before we stayed at the comfort in and got the first shuttle at 9:00 to the Port. Easy and WAYYY early but better than late!

We get to the port around 9:30ish and didnt have passports so we just used the birth certificates and drivers license. Getting checked in was a BREEZE!!! so nice we just sat and waited till about 11:15 then they let on the wedding party(well they messed up and let crew members family on before the wedding). Then it was our turn YAY!!!

The weather was cold and windy but we packed our bathing suits and were the only ones that were braving the hot tubs:p It seemed though that there was always at least one hot tub that was broken and netted off. Then our rooms were done by 1:30. We got an interior stateroom 0n the 3rd floor(we smelled no odor) and were pleasently suprised at all the room compared to the room we had last year on the majesty. Oh ya lunch was pretty good in the windjammers. The honey stung chicken wasnt too dried out but there was some hoisen asparagus salad....ewww not so yummy.

The welcome aboard show was good John Blair was the CD he seemed like a real good guy but didnt get things going as much as ricky mathews but I kind of think thats because it was a different crowd than the majesty was. Both the comedians were good(Dan Wilson&Carl banks). There was a juggler(?price) but I missed him but my brother and sister in law said he had a dry sense of humor that offended people and lots were walking out.

The second days water was ROUGH! apparently we were catching the tail end of Ophelia. So we just took it easy. Played Bingo(never won) Omar was funny.Thankfully I didnt get sick but the hubby wasnt feeling so hot. That night was formal night. There were lots of ladies in pretty dresses but I didnt see many Tuxedos for the men. My sister in law was determined to get her picture taken in front of every background lol.

Third day was Bermuda!!!! We purchased 2day bus passes on board on day 2. The weather was beautiful but cloudy. We got straight on the #7 to Horseshoe bay. My Brother in law had to stand since all the seats were taken. OMG those people drive CRAZY in Bermuda! We got to the beach and how BEAUTIFUL it was!!! So glad we got there early thought because when we arrived they had one section closed up and by the time we left the whole beach was closed due to high tide. The lifegaurds had to rescue about 5 people that day. 100_0248.jpg dont you love how people listen!

When we got back on the ship we looked at the menu and werent impressed so we called Chops and got RIGHT IN. The food was ssoooooooooo worth the money OMG YUMMMMMMMM(will review food later )

After dinner we went out to our excursion which was the Bermuda triangle glass bottom boat tour. Honestly I would say dont waste your money. I would have rather stayed on the ship and watched the Love &Marriage game show.

Day 2 in bermuda started EARLY EARLY for us! We had found Spicelands to go horseback riding at 8:00 so we caught the #8 bus to the warrick parish at 6:35 so that we could get there early. It DUMPED the rain on us but it was AWESOME! Most people probably did nothing in Bermuda that day due to the weather but we got to see a whole different part of Bermuda and I would recomend it to anyone!

when we got back on we were DRENCHED and FREEZING because we were wet for so long lol oh and STARVED because we didnt even get breakfast before we left. So after showers it was windjammers/nap/Bingo...in that order. That evening was the adult comedy show and the Casino.

Day 4 of the cruise was windy and ROUGH ROUGH waters But we made the best of it and participated in some game shows and drank and ate;) If you drank enough you would be walking straight HAHA. The Quest gameshow was a BLAST like always but i think it was a little more tame because of John Blair but yes we participated and I will say no more and my husband would kill me if I posted pictures :D

Last night day 5 was the fairwell show which was really good. John can sing really well! I wanted to cry though because the cruise was coming to an end.....so I drank haha.

Food- Our tablemates were AWESOME! 3 widowers and they were the sweetest old ladies and they were instant forever friends!Ok so the food was nothing to brag about nor complain about it was so so. I was dissapointed that my all time favorite the escargot was not as good this time and I ordered two...my sister in law just said give me what she has got a 3rd order of the snails because the waiter got us confused and thought it was her who said she loved them hahaha but i wouldnt have wanted 3 anyway. The lobster was good and our waiter went around and asked anyone if they wanted more so i had two lobsters. My favorite desert was the raspberry tart in the MDR lunch.

Chops was OMG GOOD as I said before and its a must in my mind. The only thing that made me mad was I said i wanted water and he brought me Evion and after paying $30 a person i was thinking oh well maybe its free.....NOPE GRR.

random notes-So something that I thought was cool and could only happen on a cruise ship....I sat at the same lunch table as a lady whos uncle was a Tuskegee airman ....he was the one who flew Elenor Rosevelt to show her that African Americans could fly. We also had a published Childrens writer who is going to send my 3 year old a copy of his book. So be sure to eat in the MDR at least one sea day you never know who you could meet.

For those of you that eat the tutti salad they have a system to know who ordered what so even if it doesnt LOOK like the salad you made it is they just have it chopped up.(true story a lady said"thats not mine" and got back in line)

Ok im babbling and probably lost most of you haha so to wrap it up

It was a great cruise! I will do the Enchantment again but not in October because there were no poolside activities(all canceled) and it just had a different energy without the sunshine and the rough waters. We would like to go back in 2 years with my son and do the one that goes down to saint Thomas in May.

If anyone has questions let me know

Sorry i dont have compasses or menu but I may remember some.I did get soda onboard we put it in our suitcase(bottles) we had to ask for ice. We only had towel animals on seadays....ok ask away. Also if anyone would like to see pictures of bermuda or anything else jsut ask.

oh also disembarking was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO easy it was scary hahaha. Loved Baltimore port!

Thanks for the review.

We are doing a 6 night to Bermuda next June for my DD's 16th Birthday and Niece's High School Graduation.

Did you pay the same price for the bus pass on-board as at the terminal? When we sailed Carnival you had to buy the pass once you arrived. It would be nice to save time in line.

Did you rent chairs at Horseshoe Bay or just use towels on the sand? Getting there is near the top of my must-do list becuase we didn't go in April.

Can I ask what the wording was on your husband's t-shirt? Noticed it in your photo, but could only make out the first part, about his being "a Pirate fan when..." (I used to work for the Pittsburgh Pirates a long time ago, so I was just a bit curious about what the rest of it said.)

I'm a Pirate fan too from Pittsburgh! Sailing the Enchantment May 11 to Bermuda.

Question: Bus #7...to Horseshoe Bay Beach...how long did you wait for the bus?

How long did it take to get to the beach? How long did you wait to get back to the ship?

We can an excursion at 1:00 the same day we are planning to go to the beach in the morning? What time would you suggest we leave the ship? Thank you
