What are the age requirements for,

 

1. Being able to get into the disco at night?

 

2. Gambling?

 

3. Drinking Alcohol?

 

I know some ships have it at 18 and others 21, which rule does Carnival follow?

Disco is opened to the kids 12-18 uuntil 10-10:30 then they have to leave to allow the adults. 16 and up at that time.

Also, you MUST be 21 on the day the ship sails (turning 21 during the cruise won't work). Incidentally, this is why God made MEXICO ! ;)

 

Oh, to be 20 again and faced with this problem all over ! :D

for kids, the disco is only open until 10:30 or 11:30...something like that

 

for beer/gambling, count on at least 18 for both, possibly 21...

Really depends on the ship for the disco, on the Miracle, teens were allowed in the disco from 9:30-10:45... then it was open to those 16 and over only from 11PM on... Gambling is 18... Drinking IS 21 on the ship... different ports have different drinking ages (Mexico, I believe you have to at least be old enough to walk :p )

Are there any age restrictions on board?

 

Drinking Alcoholic Beverages: Guest must be 21 years of age or older to be served alcohol on board. Proper I.D. with birth date is required.

 

 

Casino: Guest must be 18 years of age or older to play the tables and the slot machines. Guests under 18 years of age are not permitted in the casino.

 

 

 

Spa Carnival and Gym: Guests under 16 years of age are not permitted in these facilities. Guests between the ages of 16 and 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

 

 

Lounges, Shows, and Disco: Guests under the age of 18 should be accompanied by an adult in all public areas of the ship. Guests under the age of 16 must vacate the disco by 10:45pm.
