Montego Bay Beach by Cruise Ship Dock?

We are taking our family and at the Montego Bay stop, we are letting all the kids go (well they are adults, but our kids :)) and we are keeping the grand-babies! Is there a nice beach close to the docs? We would like to get them out onto the beach for sand-castles and stuff, but able to get back to the boat for naps when needed.

I want to know this too - we've done Ocho Rio before and did the falls but this time we'll just take it easy and go to the nearest - safe - beach with the kids. Any suggestions ??
